If any of you have any pointless or unanswerable questions just post them here... you never know, someone may have an answer.

I'll start it off...

Are you okay?? To someone in dire event of something seriously broken.

well that one I can answer!
when in an emergency medical situation, if you ask a person that question and they can A.) answer back, and B.) tell you what hurts,
you can be assured they have an airway(if they can breathe they can speak) and they are mentating to some level(they can think , and reason and communicate).
Thus, if you are taught cpr and are told to ask"annie annie, are you ok?" and "annie" doesn't respond, she is Non responsive, and your next job is to see if she's breathing and has a pulse.
so that one isn't as silly as you thought it was. though, I know the patients don't always appreciate the questions. lol

I never did buy the speed of light thing. I mean, leave Earth at the spead of light, then return an hour later, your one hour older, but everyone else is years older? Who's going to prove that one to me?

Figure this out: in Star Trek warp 9 means traveling 9 times the speed of light....

In the original Star Trek series, Warp 1 was 7 times the speed of light. Warp 2, was 7 times Warp 1 or 49 times the speed of light. Warp 9 was really fast.

Roddenberry revised this with the Next Generation. I don't remember the numbers but at Warp 10, you were going so fast, you were everywhere at once.
